Tallahassee Nurseries offers the services of its qualified landscape designers to develop year-round garden beauty with a minimum of maintenance. Landscaping with professional guidance will help you avoid discouraging mistakes made by many weekend gardeners. The landscape designer takes into consideration the light, soil, and water requirements of the plants, their texture, color, ultimate size and the landscape style appropriate to the house.
Landscape design service
Planting to a plan can be fun and rewarding. Enjoy gardening
with the confidence of knowing that expert landscaping advice guides
your efforts.
We offer two design services, the landscape consultation and
the landscape plan to
scale:
Landscape consultation - This service includes a
minimum of one hour of our designers' time. The designer can help
you identify plants in your garden and make helpful suggestions concerning
the addition or removal of plants and the reshaping or creation of
beds for more visual appeal. A freehand sketch of a particular area
may also be included. A fee of $65.00 per hour is charged for the
consultation. Locations greater than ten miles from the nursery require
a higher charge.
Landscape plan to scale - This service includes
a discussion with the designer about your ideas on the style of garden
you prefer and plants you might like to use. The designer will make
a trip to your home to measure the area and make a site inspection.
The designer will then present you with a landscape plan drawn to
scale indicating the types of plants recommended and their locations
in the garden. In addition, they will submit a proposal with quantities
and costs of plants, materials and labor if in the event you wanted
our landscape crews to install it for you.
Prices for plans are based on project size and location.
Landscape installation service
If you choose, you may elect to have Tallahassee Nurseries
install your plan. Our expert landscapers will be happy to install
the whole plan, install a portion of the plan or just help by preparing
the beds so you can plant.
Our guarantee to you- Tallahassee Nurseries will replace any tree
or shrub that dies within one year of completing the job.
